Definitions
Personal Data (or User Data): Any information that directly, indirectly, or in connection with other information allows us to identify a natural person.
Usage Data and Log Files: Information collected automatically through this Platform (or third-party services employed in this Platform), which can include: the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the Platform Users, the time of the request, the method utilized to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server's answer (successful outcome, error etc.), the country of origin, the features of the browser and the operating system utilized by the User, the various time details per visit (e.g., the time spent on each page within the Platform) and the details about the path followed within the Platform with special reference to the sequence of pages visited, and other parameters about the device operating system and/or the User's IT environment.

LocaShot is a screenshot localization platform that enables users to upload application screenshots and automatically translate and localize text within those screenshots into multiple target languages using AI technology. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "personal data" or "personal information" refers to any information of any kind relating to a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to such data.

Log Files and User Data We Collect About You

Uploaded Screenshots: The Platform requires you to upload application screenshots for localization purposes. These screenshots are sent to our servers for AI-powered text detection and translation processing. Screenshots are stored on our servers as part of your project data so you can access and manage them at any time.
Project Data: We store information about the projects you create, including project names, source and target languages, device configurations, and localization settings.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Platform, such as features used, time spent on the Platform, and preferences. This helps us understand user behavior to improve our services and tailor the experience.
Purchase Information: If you purchase credits for localization services, we collect transaction details, but we do not store your full payment card information. This data is processed by third-party payment providers.
Please note that if you delete your account, all associated personal information that we store (e.g., registration data, project data, uploaded screenshots, and usage history linked to your account) will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.

With your consent, our Platform utilizes third-party automated data processing technologies, such as analytics tools, to analyze specific data transmitted by your browser. Some of these integrated tools may initiate the automated processing of your data.
For purposes aligned with our legitimate interests, we may process certain data pertaining to your device and user activity. Screenshot Processing and AI Technology
What We Do:
When you upload screenshots to use the Platform's localization features, our AI technology processes your screenshots to detect, extract, and translate text content into your selected target languages. The AI generates localized versions of your screenshots with translated text overlays.
How We Use Your Screenshots:
Your screenshots are used exclusively for the localization and translation services you request within the Platform. The AI detects text in your source screenshots, translates it to your chosen target languages, and generates localized screenshot variants.
Screenshot Storage:
Your screenshots are handled with the utmost care and security:
- Server Storage: Your uploaded screenshots and generated localized versions are stored on our secure servers as part of your project data. This allows you to access, manage, and download your localized screenshots at any time.
- Project-Based Retention: Screenshots are retained as long as the associated project exists in your account. When you delete a screenshot or a project, the associated files are permanently removed from our servers.
- Account Deletion: If you delete your account, all screenshots and project data are permanently deleted from our servers.
- No Sharing with Advertisers or Data Brokers: We do not share your screenshots with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or any other entities beyond our essential processing infrastructure.
Data Processing and Security
To power our AI-driven localization features, the screenshots you upload are securely stored and processed on our cloud servers. Our processing infrastructure is designed to maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity. We do not share your screenshots with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

This information is processed as part of the performance of the contract between you and us. We cannot access or use your credit or debit card information.
